Community Development Programme
Community development is action that helps people to recognize and develop their ability and potential and organize themselves to respond to problems and needs, which they share. It supports the establishment of strong communities that control and use assets to promote social justice and help improve the quality of community life. It also enables community and public agencies to work together to improve the quality of government.
Women Empowerment: Though Women's rights are secured under the Constitution of India, yet the status of women in India has been subject to many great changes. Asha Bhavan Centre works to the creation of an environment for women where they can make decisions of their own for their personal benefits as well as for the society. The organization provides empowerment training, various workshop, vocational training programme and events.
The efforts refer to increasing and improving the social, economic, political and legal strength of the women, to ensure equal-right to women, and to make them confident enough to claim their rights.
Social Support for PwDs: The Organization provides various kind of materials and economical support to the poor beneficiaries in the community. To promote education Asha Bhavan Centre provides books, educational fees and other. To create the income opportunities we provide the financial support to the community people and help them to become self reliance.
Awareness generating programme: To build up the knowledge of the community regarding various social issues including disabilities we organized awareness camps in our project area. Thousands of people got knowledge regarding various social problems and solving skills.
