    Rehabilitation Council of India Approved D.Ed.Spl.Ed.(MR) Course

    Asha Bhavan Centre run a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved human resource development training centre for Diploma in Special Education for Mental Retardation “D.Ed.Spl.Ed. (MR). The course is fully self-financed and we have 25 trainees intake capacity.

    In the month of May 2016 we got approval from Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) to start the training college for Diploma in Special Education for Mental Retardation “D.Ed.Spl.Ed.(MR). The course is fully self-financed. The class is running by 04 core faculty and other various guest faculties. The training is going 5 days in a week as per RCI norms and guideline.

    The general objective of the course is to prepare teachers at primary and upper primary levels to serve in the following settings:

    • 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) shall also be eligible for appearing in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).
    • Special schools.
    • Integrated/ Inclusive School.
    • Itinerant programmers.

    Eligibility:

    Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent with 50% of marks (45% Marks for SC/ST/OBC/ PwDs Candidates) in any stream are eligible for the course.
