    Special School

    Asha Bhavan Centre runs a special school affiliated by Department of Disability Affairs under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Government of India. The Special School programme has experienced qualified teachers working to develop cognitive, social – emotional abilities of children with disabilities the school also prepares students for their vocational skills as per individual abilities. The school follows the standardized curriculum, classroom management, student teacher relation and creates an environment for confidence building amongst the students. We are glad to announce that the Department of Disability Affairs under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Government of India affiliated the special school from Financial Year 2016-17.

    Special Education is provided on the basis of individual specific needs identified through assessment. Their progress is constantly monitored and reviewed. We also promote these children for inclusive education whenever possible and provide extra support as and when required. This program will continue with its efforts and the number of children may vary even in same academic year. We also seek expert opinion for some children for interface services if required.
